The New York Consortium in Evolutionary Primatology
The NYCEP Morphometrics Group (NMG) is a loose association of researchers who share an interest in analyzing morphological evolution of primates using three-dimensional geometric morphometric (3D GM) methods.
The NYCEP Morphometrics Group has several pieces of data collection equipment available for student and faculty use at the American Museum of Natural History. We have four Microscribe digitizers, two NextEngine desktop laser surface scanners, a Breuckmann white light surface scanner, a digital camera with various accessories, an osteometric board, and several laptops and pairs of calipers. These can be borrowed for use within the museum or out in the field, with special permission (with the exception of the Breuckmann which must be used in the NYCEP room at the museum).
If you are interested in borrowing any of these pieces of equipment, please check their availability on the calendar below and contact Dr. Lauren Halenar at "email@example.com" to be put on the schedule.
